The current health crisis has created trauma that seems to jeopardize the future. However, it also represents an opportunity for a healthy questioning, a step back and a reflection on the future. It is clear that France has been the victim of a lack of anticipation, and that the improvement of the resilience of its mode of operation is necessary, so as to be able to better support the new crises to come.

Many reflections have been engaged in order to imagine what could be the next world. Often, the impression that this world of tomorrow will be like the one of yesterday, if not worse, is predominant. The SENS + association was born from the conviction that the current difficulties are linked to an exclusive worship of profit at the expense of intangible, cultural and spiritual values.

Consumerism, on which the current globalization is built, has led to a crisis of meaning, particularly sensitive in France, country of old civilization, which struggles to preserve its values in the context of current globalization. This is the reason why the SENS + association has launched a reflection on the means to implement in order to build a meaningful future in France. This White Paper was established by updating an earlier version, which was based on the conclusions gathered after a first year of operation of the SENS + association in 2017. Since that date, many events have occurred, which have participated in the aggravation of the crisis that France is undergoing. It was therefore necessary to update this White Paper.
